In the last month or so I've had some really down moments.

In a place as unlikely as the Academy Awards, I found a voice of inspiration, and the reference to dreams makes it even more appropriate to share here. Marketa Irglova is half of the team that won this years award for best song from a film. They were against some huge names, beat the odds and rose to claim the top honor. After being ushered off the stage, Jon Stewart brought her back out to have a moment at the mike. She said this, which for a brief moment made me want to cheer for the creative team again-

"Hi everyone. I just want to thank you so much. This is such a big deal, not only for us, but for all other independent musicians and artists that spend most of their time struggling. This - the fact that we're standing here tonight, the fact that we're able to hold this - it's just to prove, no matter how far out your dreams are, it's possible. And, you know, fair play to those who dare to dream and don't give up.
