I realized that we need a better system for inserting images into posts, so I'm currently testing out a couple of different options for that. My original thinking was that if you wanted an image to appear in your post, you'd first add it to your portfolio, then use the "insert portfolio image" link at the bottom of the text box. The lower "attach file" option was more intended for sharing documents (like Word or Adobe Acrobat files). Which is why using it makes your images appear as a link at the bottom of the post.

However, I realized that it would be a valuable feature to be able to quick-insert images into a post without having to add them to the portfolio system first. So there's now a more general "insert image" link as well as a "insert portfolio image" link. As of writing, it still needs some work, but the basic idea is that it will provide a similar interface to the pop-up portfolio image insert system.

Any thoughts on how I'm setting this up are welcome.
