As the summer progressed there were many things on my "to do list" one being a website update. I usually never really feel finished with my site, as there is always pages that need constant updating, etc.
Well, I think it's done (for now) and invite everyone to go check it out... www.heidiyounger.com - any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciate. I know that the "sketchbook" page is still under-construction and may take a while as I have to scan stuff.
This weekend I did the unthinkable, I held my first ever yard sale. It was hard work and very early mornings, as yard sale type-folks start before 7 am as I was still setting up.
For the most part, it was a good experience, but I don't think I'll do it again. I think about accumulation and extraneous belongings, how I need to be more "streamline."
I've long considered myself to be a purger, but after last week, going through all my storage areas, I realize I need to work on that more.
A local artist friend of mine is having a "studio" sale Aug. 18. Where the proceeds go to help Afghan Children Art programs. I will donate and love the idea of helping some poor kid in a war torn country, get a couple of crayons. If you're interested I can post that info.
See you all on Sunday?
