March 3rd—After a bit of a delay, red tape and white snow, The Oceans of Imagination show was hung tonight in Northport Library. Twenty-six pieces made the wall, twenty-three of which are oils or acrylics. The work spans 21 years, from 1988-2009, and contains illustration that has been used for book covers, role-playing product, collectible card games, self-promotion and some that never made it to the press. All the pieces have a strong nautical tie-in, ships are plentiful, and all but three pieces depict the water in some way. Check it out if you're out this way (Long Island) and please post a comment if you do!—Jeff
