Recently added to the Amazon.com site, are the Dover titles for the Spring 09 list. I have two new titles on this list, a CDRom of royalty-free mermaid imagery, which will feature everything from Greco-Roman mosaics to 15th century woodcuts to Victorian painting and early Golden-age illustration.
The second is a collection of early work by Willy Pogany (1882-1955). This Hungarian born illustrator produced some of the most incredibly illustrated and decorated books of the first half of the twentieth century. His inking work from 1910-1920 is among the best of the best, and this volume will feature an even mix of his line work with a variety of his color techniques. Though not nearly as well known, Pogany is one of my favorite illustrators of the Golden age.
Also on the list is a collection of Lovecraft tales, which will feature a portrait of Lovecraft I produced while studying with Murray Tinkelman in the FIT Illustration MA program. Here's how the cover will look, and I will add the image to the gallery as well.
