Busy Busy Busy.

I have been hard at work the last few months. Which is stressful sometimes, of course. But then I think about how much nicer it is than the alternative. And yes, I would much rather be worrying about how I'm going to find time to sleep than I worry about what the hell I'm supposed to do with my day, or if I'm wasting my life away sitting around the house.

The Unavoidable Process of Becoming Something Resembling an Adult

So I have a job.

I sort of meant to make a post about this as an announcement, but the truth is that I've been so busy this week with the actual job, I've barely even set foot in my home office. I've left my computer off basically all this week. Very odd. I am, in fact, making this post at work, before anyone else shows up. Because I have rediscovered my ability to get up in the morning. :)

Site Updates

I've been making some updates to my site. (finally - it seems like I only get to this about once a year). Some new images in both color and black & white, some scattered other changes. What I'd really like is a much more major overhaul - ideally by way of installing gallery software on my site like what I have set up here on Dream Colony.

What should I do with Kokoyote?

Around 2002, while doodling and thinking about tattoo designs for myself, I scribbled down a little character that I thought represented me at the time. He was a combination of two Native American characters with kind of a trickster edge to them: Kokopelli, the hunch-backed flute player, and Coyote.
